Our Team

Pastors Robbie and Amy Crisp share a passion for doing ministry in Rowan County. They moved from Tennessee to Western North Carolina in 2019, after a season of prayer and seeking God's direction. One day while Robbie was walking on the Green Mile in Cleveland, TN, he came to a place on the walkway that said, "Ends Here". The Holy Spirit spoke to his heart and told him that he was leading their ministry and family on a new path in Western North Carolina. What a blessing it has been to return to the area where Amy was born and raised. He, (Pastor Robbie) recalls, " I never imagined when my family took that step of faith that I would have the privilege of being the Lead Pastor of such an incredible church like Highest Praise Family Worship Center in China Grove."

Amy brings an enthusiastic spirit of worship and service to the church. She is an ordained minister, a gifted teacher, intercessor and has wonderful administrative abilities. Robbie considers her to be an incredible gift to him in life and in the ministry.

Robbie is thankful that he has the distinct privilege of getting to preach and teach God's Word each and every week. It is something that he does not take for granted. One of his favorite hobbies is growing a garden each year. He truly enjoys watching things grow and bring forth fruit. As a pastor, he has that same passion --- being able to watch people grow in their faith and become rooted deeper in Christ. He loves investing into others and seeing them become the best version of themselves. 

Robbie and Amy have always believed from the beginning of their marriage even before entering the ministry that being part of a church was vitally important to their family. 

Their family is very grateful to be part of a church like Highest Praise Family Worship Center where they feel that they can grow in their faith and build lasting relationships.
